Huis-Clos

Fri Sep 25, 2009, 1:38 PM
Well I'm done reading "Huis-Clos" by Sartre for my French-class.
And I love it!
During reading I was really euphoric.
Well, don't know what else to say about it but I felt the need to write it down.
And I'll finfish this entry with one of the best sentences ever:
"L'enfer, c'est les Autres."

School

Mon Sep 14, 2009, 12:51 PM
Well, well, well...
So after my summer vacances the school started today. And Just five minutes there and I feel as if I never had 7 weeks of free time.
And on top this year will probably become the most stressing, because in April I'll have to sit the exams for my Abitur (A-levels or something like that). My subjects will be: Maths, German, English and Art (At least it's better than French xD).
So tadoy in my English lesson we started reading one of the short stories which will be a question in the A-lavel exam... and this stupid guy is called Hanry Price. But there was a Henry Pierce in another relevant short story... such a mess!
And Maths... well, stuff like differentiating functions, find the antiderivative and calculating an integral, so just repetition, but it's hard enough to memorize all that useless stuff!
Physics was also pretty useless, we derived a formular we won't need anymore, stupid harmonic vibrations.
And in Geography the demographic changes in Germany... again.
Well and then there was art. We talked about the exams and then watch a film about Louise Bourgeois (and I think that I'm traumatised now... all those.. pictures! And sculptures...!)
Oh I'm so looking foreward to the rest of the week!

But hey, I'll get used to it again pretty soon. And I can drive my Daddy's car, this complete awesome VW Polo <3
And afterwards: No school anymore =D

Where Heidi lives

Sun Aug 16, 2009, 2:18 PM
So I passed this weekend with a friend and some of her friend at a mountain pasture close to Austria.
She celebrated her birthday there and it really looks like the place where Heidi lives (okay, the alp is about 200 years old). So we had no running water and no electricity, but we could hear music nontheless thanks to the boys who came from Hamburg)
It was such a fun!
Even when we went there by car and were caught in a traffic jam... so what? open the windows and turn up the music...
Yeah and we were hiking to a waterfall, where we took a bath (it was soo cold!).
And then we barbecued...
After that the party started... (Vodka, Martini, Gin, wine, etc... the German youth, oh man!)
and at about six o'clock we sang "Wir feiern die ganze Nacht!" (We'll celebrate for the whole night!) but it was still bright day...
So at midnight we went to bed (even if we could not believe it xD Usually that's the time when the party starts)
But at the next day we could get up pretty early (9 o'clock) so we had breakfast, tidied up and chilled in the sun.
Man, it was so great!

I want to do that again! Who cares for not existing running water, electricity and toilets? xD

Back at home

Sat May 16, 2009, 12:37 PM
Yes, I'm back from Rome and at the same time back to work.
I have to write an essay of about 15 pages about marketing... I dislike economic studies. I really do. And of course: Right now my computer hates me. He just runs at the secured mode and that means that I'm not able to scan any pictures or to hear any sounds. But I need to because I'm analysing advertisement by Volkswagen and so I need to see and LISTEN to the spots.
MAN! I'm going crazy here!
And not even my Tea called "peace of mind" is able to calm me! Damn!
But well, I can't change it now, so I have to deal with it.
So I'll go on writing about the posters and the pictures.
